Party girl

dress: Banana Republic, belt: ZARA, clutch: Aranaz (given by Anne Gonzalez)
Covered a private event last night.
What I like most about covering the society pages in a premiere magazine
is meeting all these highly intellectual individuals
High profile people who you don't necessarily see in the magazines
but whose names and jobs define the movers and shakers of this country
and some even globally
I love the exchange of ideas
the dreams for this country
and the desire to build a hopeful nation
Went home so high and happy
Told my husband when I got home how I enjoyed that party a lot
Then it's not really work
It's broadening one's horizons
Meeting people
Inspiring goals
Making a difference
I love this job!

Swiss National Day

Attended the Swiss National Day at the Mandarin Oriental.
My husband was the guest chef.
He used to be their Exec Chef
Was teasing them, you guys miss him so much
you make all sorts of events to have him back!

Good time
Being with the Swiss
I was telling the deputy head
how with only 7.5 M Swiss population
they can have such a huge impact and contribution to the world
I have not met a Swiss who's not precise and intellectual
Their country is the true model for
What intelligence, honesty and hardwork can achieve

Happy Swiss Day!

Early birds get the most pics!

from l-r : Carla , moi, Jackie, Reina

back : Rica, Eds

w/ Eds and Rica

Eds & I are godmothers to our common friend's (Hi Bess!) eldest son. They were friends in high school, we were friends in college.
Rica is the best friend of Eds. We're co-parents in school and bonded through mutual friends.
These two are so supportive of all my endeavors and always cheer me to go, go, go. I love telling them stories as they laugh at all my jokes and I mean ALL, haha. I can talk to them about serious things and hilarious ones. I enjoy their company a lot.

w/ one of our closest & best family friends, Roland & Jackie Laudico

Their lovely daughter's my godchild.

w/ college friends, Reina Puckett-Tan and Carla Grino, more than 2 decades of friendship

We still look the same, better but same.

This is the first part of the guests.

These people were there before me.

I arrived at exactly 3:30 p.m. and they were there before that.

I invited a chosen group of people.

Friends from Prep to High School to college to adult life to expat life to motherhood to fashion to art friends.

People who have helped me become the person I am today.

Who are always supportive in everything I do.

People who have touched my life one way or the other.

This is just the first batch.

Most of the guests though I wasn't able to have photos taken with from my camera.

I will rely on the ever dependable Rica to capture that.

Stay tuned...

3 -in- 1

Attended 2 of my godchildren's combined birthday party plus their 1st cousin's whose parents are friends of ours in Bangkok.
Fun, hot day.
When you see children get older then you know time flies so fast.
I love birthdays, always a celebration of thanksgiving.
Happy birthday to Ianne, Sandro & Matthew!
Cheers from Ninang!

Lazy Friday Get Together

Friday night, it's the weekend, yay!!! Having a casual dinner with my co-board of directors in our building. Simple, casual, laid back, all-white setting. Don't you just love Fridays? Enjoy your weekend!
