Busy Wednesday

Yesterday was so full
Started with a Mass for Mama Mary's birthday
then did some organizing at home then at Wilcon
As soon as it opened!
After that chose some wallpaper designs
then home depot
then St. Luke's
then a children's party
then the site
then pick up kids
then teach catechism
finally home
Phew!
The only time I get to sit is when am in the car
But am not complaining
am actually amazed of the energy
I guess there's no better high
than loving life itself
Enjoy the last day of work for the week
Off to a Board Meeting!

Long skirt

Today was spent mostly at the site
Told my construction team, am starting to feel physically tired
They're so supportive
Saying not to worry as I will enjoy the fruits of labor soon
I had trouble getting up this morning
My body was feeling the stress of standing, walking
in heels at that
I just had to tell myself
I have a goal, I have a goal
My husband laughed at me when he first heard that
But that's what I always do
When the body is weak
Can't let the spirit go in that direction too
Wearing a long skirt today
Old, old but I love that mid calf skirts
are making a comeback
Oh yea, the wallpaper people
also did measurements already
Am so excited!
And yes, I have my eyes set on the goal.
Happy weekend!

Flower girl

Sunday
Still trekking hardware stores and kitchen showroom
What better way to exude femininity
in a masculine setting
but with flowers

Happy Sunday!

Party girl

dress: Banana Republic, belt: ZARA, clutch: Aranaz (given by Anne Gonzalez)
Covered a private event last night.
What I like most about covering the society pages in a premiere magazine
is meeting all these highly intellectual individuals
High profile people who you don't necessarily see in the magazines
but whose names and jobs define the movers and shakers of this country
and some even globally
I love the exchange of ideas
the dreams for this country
and the desire to build a hopeful nation
Went home so high and happy
Told my husband when I got home how I enjoyed that party a lot
Then it's not really work
It's broadening one's horizons
Meeting people
Inspiring goals
Making a difference
I love this job!

Clutches -
Small, light, easy, doesn't try to be the center of attention when wearing a statement dress or could be the focal point when one prefers so.
The perfect kind of accessory, never cramps your style but paired correctly makes a big statement.
Beauty doesn't come from overbearing things but in little things that grab one's imagination.
So next time you're looking for the perfect bag, just clutch it!
