Summer break

I woke up with a terrible headache
Have so many details to fix today
as tomorrow's a big day for my eldest

Have to prep for tomorrow
but also have 2 parties today
which are good friends so we can't say no to

Yesterday, my co-parent hosted a lovely swimming party
The whole day was just spent chaperoning
Went home really tired and exhausted
Thank goodness for my massage last night

Am off to 2 parties again, despite the terrible headache
and tons of things to do before we leave

Oh well, the perks of having a lot of friends
There's always a celebration to fill up the calendars

The heat is on

I don't even have to leave the house to get a tan

Summer's here and wearing comfy clothes is utmost

What I like about this maxidress is, it's so easy to wear, no effort at all

and you look polished right away

She and her family are visiting from the States

Just saw her last December and now it's her turn to visit

Had dinner at Enderun

Good food, as expected

Then we had dessert at home

Nice to be able to share our life with friends

though separated by distance

but never the bond

Was in Kamiseta, Market Market the other day And was looking for outfits for summer Got a printed dress, so cute, can't wait to wear it to our summer vacation! Though we still have to wait about a month and a half for that as it's not schoolbreak for us yet Was pleasantly surprised to be asked which packaging I want for my dress Pretty cool stuff, huh? Just wonder how much of what I paid for went to this budget, haha. Enjoy your Sunday!

When the sun marks the spot

I don't usually complain about the heat in Manila especially since I just make sure to stay away from direct sunlight but today was fuming hot!!! I think everyone I meet complains about the heat. Just learn how to stay out of the sun and hydrate yourself.

Was so lazy to wear pants so decided to be casual today, not considering I was going to interview someone for a potential job, didn't want her to think of her future boss as too casual and youthful, haha.

Am meeting my good friend who now resides in California. But that's for the next post.

Stay cool!

How to beat the heat

1. Wear sleeveless tops

2. Wear the cutest shorts

3. Drink lots of fluids even when not thirsty.

4. Good ventilation.

5. Wear sunblock.

6. Bring a stylish umbrella when walking.

7. Care for the environment so we can stop global warming.

8. Look pretty, hey, the sun's out why not make the most out of it?

9. Stop complaining, it only feels hotter when you do.

10. Bring a fan wherever you go.

11. Plant trees in your garden.

12. Wear white or cool colors.

13. Swim

14. Go to a moviehouse, it's cold in there!

15. And when all else fails, pray for a better climate.

Don't let the heat get you down, just beat it!

Love florals and the lightness of its image in one's eyes.

Will be wearing lots of florals this summer.
