You know by now how I feel about my painting class
I am quite taken by them cause I feel they're my friends from another lifetime
I feel at home when I'm with them though we've known each other not so long
We share so much that we don't even share with other friends

I remember when our car got bumped, it was them calling me to ask if am okay
Leah even offered a car for me to which , of course, I declined
But the thought meant the world
She even texted me the morning after at 6 a.m. asking how things are
Told my husband how blessed I am to have a friend already thinking of me at that time
Despite the fact she has 12 children of her own to care for

Maureen, had our Jaguar fixed right away so we can use that
She was even calling me that day several times when I got bumped even though she herself
was busy with their Maserati launch
Even saw a text the day after that came in at 11 p.m. when she just got home to ask if I was okay and if
I need to talk
Of course I was okay. 
But the way these women take care of me is just amazing.
That is real friendship.

Am not so into painting, I go more for the camaraderie and solidarity with these women, and yea, the food, hahahaha
I'm a verb already there when they say you're doing a Rachelle,  means you always eat first and a lot, haha
No one believes I eat a lot, they're the group who knows it's true
I guess they really know me

Thanks to Tani for inviting us to their beautiful rest house
It was such a fun, bonding moment, getting to know each one better
We even got stuck in the boat while touring!
But as religious and spiritual and faithful as everyone there was, no one panicked and just started praying, and yea, eating

To these amazing women who make me think that getting older really means getting better
And such inspirations how I know they all have a spot in the most coveted place.

Eat, pray, love and be a friend.

My Gracious Friends

It's the month of June and yes, I just turned 42!

I'm one person who enjoys getting older, in fact, am proud of it.  I earned that age and it's always a blessing to be given another year.

Sharing with you the 2 lunches hosted on my behalf by my 2 good friends.
